From the beginning to end this blog shows the life, history, and mark the Misty Copeland has put on, for future principal dancers, to be their true and unique self. As one of the 1st African American principal dancers, she stands for what she believes in whether on the stage or in her personal life. Creating a change in ballet history of the norm stereotypical ideal of ballet. That anyone has a chance and a voice to be their best self in their dreams of becoming a dancer. Making her the ideal prime example of what a principal ballet dancer can aim for. From what I have seen on Misty Copeland’s Instagram page, she has been collaborating with a brand called greatnesswins. A fitness clothing brand that is used for premium performance active apparel, that is used for any type of sport or training. And Mrs. Copeland posted about the brand on October 10, 2023.
